Roberto Íñiguez: “The team has given everything”

After losing the first match of LF Endesa, Roberto Íñiguez assessed the match and expressed his “proudness” of the team. “I have said before that the evaluations should not be made by winning or losing. I think we competed to the maximum and I can only take my hat off to you. We knew that we came with a little less energy than usual, but it was not noticeable. The team gave everything”.

One of the keys to the match was Uni’s long-range shooting. “I think we blamed the percentage of threes on being able to stay in the game in the minutes in which they came back, especially when they played a lot of balls inside. We fought well, but we lacked accuracy from outside”.

“The third point is what everyone has seen. I won’t say anything more, but I think it was decisive. We have to see the match. Now it’s time to move on, as I always say. We know who we are and we have to recover for next week, as we have two important matches at home before the Christmas break,” concluded Roberto Íñiguez.
