Uni Girona has reached an agreement with Imani Tate for the American shooting guard’s addition until the end of the season.
Pere Puig, the sporting director, commented on the new signing: “The option we have chosen to replace Maya Caldwell is Imani Tate. In a very challenging market, with many clubs looking for players, this has been our choice. We looked for a profile that complements what we need and enhances some of the aspects we can improve, such as defensive toughness and rebounding. Additionally, she is a player with experience in the league and will help us. We weren’t looking for a scorer, but a player who does a bit of everything and complements the rest of the team. We hope her arrival will help us and allow us to keep making progress.”
This season, Tate has played 16 games in the LF Endesa with Osés Construcción Ardoi, averaging 10 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and a 7.9 valuation per game.
