Huge recognition for Chloe Bibby! The Australian forward from Spar Girona has been named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of this season’s Liga Femenina Endesa, becoming a key figure in the team’s return to the European elite with qualification for the EuroLeague Women.
In her first season playing in Spain, Bibby has wowed fans and analysts alike with outstanding stats: 18.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game. She was selected nine times in the league’s best five of the week and named MVP in two rounds. With an average efficiency rating of 19.72 per game, she ranks second in the league, just behind Mariam Coulibaly.
The Australian star, clearly moved, shared the award with her team:
“I want to thank all the fans who believed in me, Spar Girona, and my teammates. This award wouldn’t be possible without them. The Spanish league is incredibly tough, and having a team that constantly supports you makes all the difference. This recognition is as much theirs as it is mine.”
With this honor, Chloe Bibby confirms herself as one of the standout players of the season and a cornerstone of a Uni Girona team that’s dreaming big once again.
